Monsoons and Potholes is a mad, bad, humorous, irrelevant and a very personal account of growing up in Ceylon and later Sri Lanka through its years of deprivation and plenty. The trials and tribulations of its heroine, in tandem with her view of the countrys progress on the slippery roads to the left, right and nowhere is now followed by the road to everywhere, in Monsoons and Potholes revisited.
