Our Kakadu plum is truly natures superfood containing the highest amount of Vitamin C of any tested fruit in the world. If you want to put that into perspective, it contains up to 100 x more Vitamin C than an Orange. A little goes a long way with this tart little fruit 1g of Kakadu Plum powder or one orange the choice is yours. Kakadu plum is actually a little green plum and if you saw it you probably wouldnt even call it a plum. Definitely not for the faint hearted, this sour superfood is extremely sought after in the cosmeceuticals industry but is a powerful addition to supercharge smoothies and sports drinks. With its slight fruity notes, Kakadu Plum can also take part in both sweet and savoury dishes where you want to impart a little tang.
Our Kakadu Plum is Indigenously harvested throughout the tropics in Western Australia and to assist in reducing the wild harvest impact on the environment, we are supporting more farmed plantations in the future.
